Herman "Buck" Watson earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1955. He received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1961 where he served on the Board of Editors of the Law Review and was inducted into the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. Mr. Watson was admitted to the Bar in 1961 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals 4th, 5th, and 11th Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama.
In more than 46 years as a practicing lawyer in Alabama, Mr. Watson has litigated civil and criminal matters. He currently focuses his practice in the area of civil litigation. Mr. Watson is a Fellow with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Association for Justice. Mr. Watson formerly served as President of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association and as Treasurer of the Alabama Association for Justice.
